How do I receive my wallpapers after I buy?
Within ~15 seconds of payment a download link is emailed to the address you entered at checkout. Tap the link to download a ZIP bundle. The link works for 14 days and can be redeemed up to 5 times if your initial download is interrupted.
What file formats do you ship?
Every product page lists exact formats. Most packs ship 4K JPG (3840×2160) at minimum, with 5K JPG (5120×2880) and 8K JPG (7680×4320) included on the main and bundle tiers. Single-buy items also include an iPhone-portrait crop.
Will the files look good on my OLED / 4K / 5K / 8K monitor?
Every file is graded for D65 (6500K) and sRGB. We test on a calibrated reference monitor before shipping. If your screen is producing visible banding or a colour cast, see the monitor test list post — almost every issue we get emailed about turns out to be the monitor's colour-temperature setting.
Can I use these wallpapers commercially?
The default license is personal use — your devices, your household. If you need a wallpaper inside a commercial product (for example, as a backdrop in a marketing video, or in a paid app), email us about the extended license. Pricing varies by use case.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet downloaded the file. Defective or wrongly-described files are refunded regardless of download status. EU consumers retain 14-day withdrawal rights under Directive 2011/83/EU until they start downloading. Full details on the refund policy page.
I lost my download link. Can I get it again?
Yes. Email support with the email address you used to buy. We'll re-issue a link within one business day, free of charge, for as long as your account is in good standing.
Do you use AI to generate the wallpapers?
No. Every wallpaper in every pack is a photograph or a photo-derived composition, processed through a hand-built grading pipeline (see the pipeline post). We don't AI-upscale, we don't AI-denoise, we don't AI-generate. The 8K files are 8K because the sensor is 8K.
Will the bundle 'Year One' really keep growing for 12 months?
Yes. Every wallpaper pack we ship between May 2026 and April 2027 is added to your bundle library automatically — no extra payment. Currently planned: 6 new packs across the year. After your year ends you keep everything you got, no auto-renew.
Do you store my credit card?
No. Payments are processed by Stripe and we receive only the order status and an opaque payment identifier. Your card number never touches our servers.
What happens if my chargeback the order?
Please email us first — we will almost always resolve the issue faster than a chargeback can. If a chargeback is filed before contact, Stripe is provided with the order record, download log, and the terms you agreed to at checkout. The associated email may be suspended from future purchases while the dispute is investigated.
Do you have a referral or affiliate program?
Not yet. We've kept the studio small on purpose. If you write about us in a publication or on social, send us the link and we'll usually thank you with a free pack.
Where is the studio based and who runs it?
Aural Walls LLC is a Wyoming-registered company. The studio is run by one founder with the help of a part-time editor. The legal entity address is on every page footer; the day-to-day address is wherever the next pack is being shot.
